The Edmonton Oilers are back in the Western Conference Final for the first time since 2006, after defeating the Calgary Flames in five games in Round 2.

The Oilers will now face the Colorado Avalanche, who are the top-seeded team in the Western Conference. The Avalanche are coming off a sweep of the St. Louis Blues in Round 2.

The Oilers and Avalanche are set to meet in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final on Tuesday, May 31. The series will be broadcast on SNWest and SN1.

The Oilers are looking to reach the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 2006, when they lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in seven games.

The Avalanche are looking to win their first Stanley Cup since 2001, when they defeated the New Jersey Devils in seven games.
